About hiype!
Hiype is an internet-based resource of information specifically for younger deaf and hearing impaired people who are studying or working. Set up in 2001, we aim to bring together information and advice aimed at people who's main means of communication is by speech.
Our aims
Hiype! was set up for deaf or hearing impaired people of student or working age. We hope it will enable you to;
- meet and make contact;
- find out more about local and national events;
- find relevant information on the internet;
- read about relevant news and find out what's going on.
And also to stop the myth that anyone under 65 with a hearing loss must have been beamed down from another planet!
