Disability Living Allowance - sometimes referred to as DLA - is a tax-free benefit for children and adults who need help with personal care or have walking difficulties because they are physically or mentally disabled.

Access to Work

Access to Work (AtW) is available to help overcome the problems resulting from disability. It offers practical advice and help in a flexible way that can be tailored to suit the needs of an individual in a particular job.

The cost of communication support can also be met in various other ways dependign on the circumstances.

If you need to attend a lecture or meeting contact the people organising the event and ask what facilites they have for deaf people.
